Dress the part

Week 8: This week the most important thing that I learned in class, is how to dress properly as a man when it comes to going to an interview. I was given 7 tips, never be the least dressed up in the room, dress smart "Possibly wear glasses", don't wear strong colognes, wait to grow facial hair "Weekends", pay attention to the fit of my clothes, show personality "Add a little color", and lastly it is important to wear nice shoes. When it comes to my internship, I was able to accomplish quite a bit. I help put together a presentation for an event that is taking place on Oct. 18, 2021. I will represent the Eternal Flame at this event which will be a humbling experience for me. Also this week I conducted two more interview via zoom for a story I will be writing for the magazine. What I learned this week is that there is always going to be more to learn when it comes to helping run a magazine, and I always need to look for new opportunities to brush up on old skills.
