Learning as I go

Week 2: This week has been full of surprises when it comes to my internship at the Eternal Flame Magazine. I found out as Editor, it will be my responsibility to host a function in the up coming weeks. It will be a gathering between the Eternal Flame Magazine, and The Prairie newspaper. This excites me because I have plenty of experince hosting events, and it is something I enjoy doing. Also, I worked at The Prairie Newspaper last semester, so it will be

nice spending time with some of my old colleagues. This week I also pitched four story ideas for the magazine, and two of them were chosen by the staff for me to write about for our next issue. One of the stories I will be writing will involve creating a poll as one of my sources. This is something I have never done before, so my Advisor for the magazine sent me a link to a site where I will be able to create the poll. I plan to have the poll created and submitted to my Advisor by tomorrow night. So far it has been nothing but good experinces at the Eternal Flame, and I can't wait to see what else I will learn through my internship.
