Week 12: Now that I am over the hurdle of last week, I have lined up my mock interview for December 1, 2021. I plan to ask my instructor a few questions in order to be prepared for the interview. Also, a while back I volunteered at an AAF conference. After the event was over, I went to an after party to do some networking with members of AAF. I made many connections but one connection has been the most helpful. His name is Michael and he owns a business that runs out of Dallas. We met over zoom last week in which he hosted a one-on-one session with me over SEO. I learned a lot about how to make my articles more findable by using different key words in my stories. I also made the decision that I will become a member of AAF at the begininng of next year.

This week in my internship, I found out that the writing contest that we came up with was a great success. We ended up with over twenty entries, and we will begin the editing process on Monday during our business meeting. I can't wait to see how our publication turns out at the end of the semester.
