Remaining positive and hopeful

Week 4: This week I learned in my intership class that it is vital to send a cover letter with an application when appling for a job. This is in order to make the best impression with the company as possible. I also learned this week how to best structure a cover letter. When it comes to my internship at the External Flame, this week I got a crash course on how to operate WTAMU's qualtrics. I was able to create the poll I was wanting for one of my upcoming stories. Also, I presented guidelines for a writing competition we are planning to have. My suggested guidelines were accepted after a few suggested edits. I was also able to design a Google slides presentation for last weeks meeting that I hosted as the Editor of the magazine. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to being an Editor for a magaizine, and I am beyond grateful that I have been given this opportunity through my internship.
